This illustration is so special to me. When I designed this it was the very first time that I actually backed myself and believed in my art enough to produce it. Before this all the art was made by other artists that I collaborated with.
This design marks a huge turning point in my life and my journey as an artist.
And the symbolism in this artwork runs deep.
It was the centre piece of a collection called Roots, which was an exploration of my Celtic ancestry and all that I felt disconnected from and that which i longed for.
